Two decades later, she resurfaces as "Scarface," a colossal 21-foot apex predator with a hide marked by betrayal. Now the avenger, she terrorizes Australia's East Coast, shredding boats, claiming fishermen, and leaving bloody wakes in her path. In Byron Bay, seasoned shark hunters Stan—a tattooed veteran of countless sea battles—and his reckless partner Reggie are drawn by a massive government reward. They enlist Stormy, a wise Aboriginal captain with ancestral sea knowledge, to pursue her aboard his symbol-adorned vessel, unaware that their hunt will unearth humanity's sins against the marine world.

 

Further north in the idyllic Whitsunday Islands, two young couples—childhood sweethearts Keona and Yindi, full of dreams, and urban escapees Neville and Lisa, seeking romance—embark on a joyful sea-doo adventure. Their paradise shatters in a high-speed collision, leaving them adrift on a damaged craft.
